Meet Steph
M.OMSc, BEXSc, CAT(C)
Steph began her journey in the health and wellness industry in 2017 as a Certified Athletic Therapist and Personal Trainer after graduating from the University of Lethbridge and Mount Royal University. Eager to continue learning and become more involved in preventative healthcare, she discovered Osteopathy. In 2020, Steph was accepted into the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy’s intensive four-year program, where she worked toward achieving her Master in the Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences. The holistic approach and in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics aligned with her personal philosophy on the interconnectedness of the human body and her belief that no part of the body becomes injured in isolation.
Like many of the patients she now helps, Steph has struggled with various health issues from migraines and digestive problems to unexplained fatigue—while being told she was "fine" by conventional healthcare providers. Despite prioritizing her health and staying active, Steph felt held back by symptoms with no clear answers. Frustrated by the lack of support, she turned to alternative healthcare and found Osteopathy. Osteopathy not only helped her recover from acute injuries like ankle sprains and whiplash but also played a pivotal role in resolving deeper, systemic issues that traditional medicine had overlooked. This firsthand experience reinforced her belief in treating the body as a whole rather than just chasing symptoms.
Now, Steph is passionate about helping others who feel dismissed or unheard—those who are active, health-conscious, and want to feel and perform at their best but struggle with ongoing issues like inflammation, fatigue, or chronic tension. Her goal is to provide the care she once searched for, empowering people to move better, recover fully, and thrive in all aspects of life.

In her free time, Steph enjoys a mix of athletic and creative pursuits, including obstacle course racing, strength training, trail running, photography, and pottery. She continues to refine her treatment approach through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues.

Kennedy Osteopathy is an independently owned small business focused on delivering exceptional care to all patients. Our mission is to facilitate the natural self-healing and self-regulating functions of the body through the application of osteopathic treatment to reduce patterns of restriction and compensation in the body. This is achieved by following the principles of classical osteopathy as set forth by the founder of the profession, Andrew Taylor Still, in 1874.

We value professionalism, safety, and well-being, and we are committed to continual learning to ensure all patients receive the best possible care. Kennedy Osteopathy is a safe space where all individuals are welcome.
